Hi, my name is Joanie Thole. I live in Albers with my husband, Randy, and my three children, Zachary, Austin, and Karli. I earned my Bachelor's of Science from Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville in 1999. I have been teaching at Lebanon since 2001. I have taught both second and fifth grade. In 2012, I received a reading endorsement from McKendree University. Starting in 2014, I took the position of Title I teacher/coordinator. During the summer of 2017, I started back to McKendree University to finish my masters degree in Educational Studies with an emphasis in Reading which I completed in July 2018. In my free time, I love spending time with my family. My family keeps me very busy! We enjoy going on Jeep rides and attending our children's activities. We can be found at baseball, softball and basketball games and at track meets. We are also involved in the community 4-H program!
Mrs. Jennings
Hi, my name is Mrs. Pam Jennings. I was born and raised in St. Louis, MO. I studied marketing and earned a travel and tourism certificate, becoming a travel agent in St. Louis for several years. My husband, Michael and I moved to Melbourne, FL in 1991 and I made a career change to sales and management of an apartment community in Florida. While there, we enjoyed sailing and scuba diving. I have two children, Michael and Jessica and we have lived in Lebanon since 2000. After teaching my children how to read and write, I realized how much I enjoyed teaching children. I started substituting in the district in 2005. I received a para-professional certificate and was hired with the district in 2007. I have worked with individual students with special needs and later in Pre-K until 2010. It was then, I was offered a position in the Title I classroom to work with small reading and math groups. Everyday, I look forward and enjoy being with our students. I love engaging them and watching them grow and develop a love for reading and math. Email her at [email protected]
